A hardware modder that goes by the handle of Gameboy_station on Instagram & Gameboystation on Etsy has shown off pictures of his backlit Neo Geo Pocket Color mod and it looks fantastic.
According to his instagram posts, the screen ratio is slightly smaller than the original. The mod requires a custom ribbon created by his coworker and he has documented his progress on IG.
His Etsy store shows 600 sales with a 5 star rating from 135 people. If you’re interested, contact him via either of his accounts. The project definitely looks awesome and I hope that it lives up to the hype. The Neo Geo Pocket Color needs more love.
